New Year, New Changes: Will You Go With The Flow or Fight It? (Info to Share)

New Year, New Changes: Will You Go With The Flow or Fight It?
by T. Harv Eker

Happy New Year! I am excited to share with you exciting, new journeys and experiences as 2012 reveals itself to all of us.

With each new year comes changes big and small . . . whether we like it or not!  And because change is inevitable, and because we have just entered a new year, I wanted to touch on this subject just a little deeper.
Sometimes we love change, like a new job, a new relationship, or moving to a new city. Sometimes we hate change, especially when it’s not our choice or out of our control. In that case, we’d rather stick with what we know, even though it may no longer apply to our reality.

Either way, change is not always easy, is it? Why is change difficult for most of us? Because change means that we are forced out of our comfort zones, which is why it can be so difficult to embrace.

Here’s a clue: if what you’ve been looking for was where you’ve been looking, you’d have already found it! (Read that sentence one more time, it’s a good one.) Doing more of the same harder and longer is usually not the answer. Willingness to change usually creates better results.

It’s true—in many ways, reality is what we make it. Regardless if change is chosen or forced, one of the first steps to change is changing how you think. What you focus on expands because not only are you thinking it, but then you’re feeling and doing, even if you’re not always aware of it.

In other words, if you think change is going to suck, you’ll feel that, you’ll end up acting like it, then that change will end up exactly as you thought. But if you think, “Something good can actually come out of this,” you’re inviting more favorable results. Adapting to change then becomes easier and less stressful because you’re not focusing on the discomfort of the unpredictable.

This year, when change comes your way (because it will no matter what), treat change as a gift, even when it comes unexpectedly.

Ask yourself, “How can I use this to my benefit?” That doesn’t mean ignoring the jarring effect that change can have on how you feel—like losing a relationship, a loved one, or a job—but also make a choice to not stay stuck in a state of loss.

Darwin is often misquoted when people say only the strongest survive. Not true. It’s not the smartest. It’s those who are most adaptable, quickly adjusting to new situations and circumstances.
The idea is to go with the flow and not only accept change, but embrace it as an opportunity to expand yourself and your life.

EXERCISE:  Make a list of all the areas in your life where changes need to happen in 2012. Make sure your list not only covers the situations in your life, but also your environment and how you personally need to change. Start implementing those changes now with a Warrior attitude of 100%.

Resolve by Jim Rohn (must read..)

Resolve by Jim Rohn

Resolve says, “I will.” These two words are among the most potent in the English language. I WILL. Benjamin Disraeli, the great British statesman, once said, “Nothing can resist a human will that will stake even its existence on the extent of its purpose.” In other words, when someone resolves to “do or die,” nothing can stop him.
The mountain climber says, “I will climb the mountain. They’ve told me it’s too high, it’s too far, it’s too steep, it’s too rocky, it’s too difficult. But it’s my mountain. I will climb it. You’ll soon see me waving from the top or you’ll never see me, because unless I reach the peak, I’m not coming back.” Who can argue with such resolve?
When confronted with such iron-willed determination, I can see Time, Fate and Circumstance calling a hasty conference and deciding, “We might as well let him have his dream. He’s said he’s going to get there or die trying.”
The best definition for “resolve” I’ve ever heard came from a schoolgirl in Foster City, California. As is my custom, I was lecturing about success to a group of bright kids at a junior high school. I asked, “Who can tell me what ‘resolve’ means?” Several hands went up, and I did get some pretty good definitions. But the last was the best. A shy girl from the back of the room got up and said with quiet intensity, “I think resolve means promising yourself you will never give up.” That’s it! That’s the best definition I’ve ever heard: PROMISE YOURSELF YOU’LL NEVER GIVE UP.
Think about it! How long should a baby try to learn how to walk? How long would you give the average baby before you say, “That’s it, you’ve had your chance”? You say that’s crazy? Of course it is. Any mother would say, “My baby is going to keep trying until he learns how to walk!” No wonder everyone walks.
There is a vital lesson in this. Ask yourself, “How long am I going to work to make my dreams come true?” I suggest you answer, “As long as it takes.”

Thoughts on Financial Freedom - by Chris Widener (Just to Share)

Here are a few thoughts on financial freedom and how to find it for yourself.

Financial freedom is a buzzword for our generation. It is the pursuit of literally millions of people. So what is it? Is it that elusive? Can anyone achieve it?

Let me start by saying that this is not about how to earn money, or even more money. Rather, it is about how to find financial freedom, which surprisingly, may or may not involve making more money.

The first step in finding financial freedom is to realize that financial freedom has absolutely nothing to do with how much money you have or make.

What? Exactly. Financial freedom is something that goes on inside of you.

This is why someone who makes very little can be happy and someone who makes a ton can be extremely stressed out over his or her financial situation. So the first step is to realize that financial freedom is more about our attitudes toward money than about the amount of money.

"Okay Chris, I'm with you. So what are the attitudes that provide financial freedom?" Here are a few that keep me in financial freedom:

• I do not have to worry about money. I used to catch myself saying, "If I had more money, then I wouldn't have to worry about..." But do you know what? I don't have to worry anyway. I can control my income. I can control my outgo. I can make choices that can alleviate any of my worries. I also realized that things always work out. So why worry? I choose not to worry. I work hard, invest, plan for the future and I do not worry about it.

• I can be happy regardless of my financial state. I know people who are worth hundreds of millions of dollars and I know people who don't have two nickels to rub together. Some are happy and some aren't. And none of the people who have a lot of money say to me, "Chris, I've become so happy since I got money." They were happy before they had money and they are happy now that they have money. Their happiness has nothing to do with the money. Billionaire David Geffen once said, "Anyone who says that money will buy them happiness has never had any money."

• Money is a means to an end, not the end itself. Another way to look at it is that money is a tool to build the house, not the house itself. I would set some financial goals if I were you, but go beyond that to know what greater purpose there will be when you reach them. What will the house be used for that you build with this tool?

·      I am free. I am free to earn—some people think it is bad to earn more money. It isn't.
·      I am free to save—some people believe it is bad to save. It isn't.
·      I am free to give money away—some people feel they will be better off hoarding it. They won't.
·      I am free to spend—some people believe that they can't spend anything on themselves. They can.
·      We are free to make choices. That is financial freedom.

• Embrace delayed gratification. Here is the principle: Buy it now and struggle later. Another principle: Delay buying it now, invest the money, and have all you want later on! And you won't even have to touch the principal! We tend to think that having it now will bring enjoyment, but unless you can do it and not cause yourself financial stress, you will actually get more from waiting!

• Have more by managing better. The fact is that most of us earn enough. What would be beneficial is to set our priorities and live by a budget. As we get control, our budget will loosen up a bit and we will find ourselves enjoying it more. Money that is already there can be your answer if you put it to work for you.
You can experience financial freedom no matter how much money you have. Granted, it is great to build wealth and that should be our goal, but no matter what level you are currently at, or what level of wealth you ultimately attain, if you keep money in the proper perspective, you can be happy and free!

Rahsia Lubuk Buat Duit dilaman Mudah.my dibongkar!

(semoga dilanjutkan usia semua hendaknya.. ye.)

(disebabkan alamat urlnya panjang so, saya pendekkannya)

Semoga anda berjaya buat duit!

Life Is Art by Jim Rohn (Valuable Info to Share it)

In my years teaching people to be successful, I have seen that, basically, people break their lives down into two major parts: wealth-building and the rest of their lives. Having done a lot of reflection on these two topics—wealth and life—I am coming to some new conclusions about how to perceive the two.

Until recently, I thought that there was a significant difference in how we should tackle the two areas. In fact, I thought that the two topics should be addressed in almost opposite fashion.

You see, wealth-building is just math. While life…. Life is art.
Think back with me to high school. Most of us were required to take math and most of us probably took art as well.

Now, think about your final exams in the two areas. Your math paper was graded on hard facts:

- Ten times 10 is always 100
- Thirty divided by three is always 10
- Seven plus seven is always 14
- Fifty minus 25 is always 25

There is always just one answer in math. The answers are hard fact, set in stone. Math is a science. It is formulaic. You can know the outcome before it happens, every time.

But what about your final art project? Art is much more subjective. "Beauty," they say, "is in the eye of the beholder." There is no one right answer.

Think of the different styles of the famous artists: Renoir, Monet, Picasso, Rockwell, Warhol. Different people find different styles beautiful, and that is what makes art, art.

So how does this fit with wealth-building and life? Wealth-building is like math:
- If you add $1,000 to your retirement account each month and gain 7 percent interest over 20 years, you can know now how much you will have then. It is math.

 - If you buy a rental property for $200,000 now and it increases in value by 3 percent a year, you know exactly how much you will be able to sell it for in 10 years.

The beauty of math is in the knowing. You can work the system, set it on autopilot and the math does the work for you, and you know the outcome.

But life? Life is art. And that is the beauty of life. You do not know how it is going to turn out. Life, like art, is always changing. Different people provide different colors. When you make a mistake, you can go back, erase it or even paint right over it. You can change the scenery. Life, like art, is ever evolving, and what looks good to one person is of no interest to another. And that is what makes life beautiful.

Another lesson I think we can draw is that in life we should do our math, of course, but life isn't made up of just wealth-building. Wealth-building should serve our ability to live our lives. Jesus, the master teacher, said that our lives are not made up of the abundance of our possessions. He didn't mean that possessions aren't good, just that wealth isn't what life is all about.

So let me ask you: Are you spending more time on your math or your art? Do your math. Everybody should do their very best at their wealth-building plan so they can take care of themselves and their families.
But life is about the art. What does your canvas look like? What kind of picture are you painting? What kind of pot are you creating? What kind of statue are you sculpting? Take your time, make bold strokes, use brilliant colors, and make of your life the most beautiful masterpiece that you can.

In other words, do your math so you can focus on your art.

School bells will soon be ringing and students getting ready to hit the books. Now, you can better prepare your returning student for the challenges ahead with a special Back-to-School Bundle! Whether your student is heading back to grade school, middle school, high school, tech school or college, this remarkable group of personal-achievement programs is perfectly suited for students of all ages. Windows 7 - Is it the Real Deal?

By Joshua Bryant

I am a software engineer by trade so having a stable system is something that is a very high priority to me. I was one of the first to jump on Windows Vista and I must say, I was not satisfied. I continued to use Vista (64 bit) on my main production machine as long as I could, but I eventually did what many other before me. I reinstalled my machine and put Windows XP (64 bit) back on it.

When Windows 7 beta was announced, I installed it on my test machine and I was impressed how well it functioned in beta. However, I decided to hold off on installing it on my production machine until it was a more stable release. Once the RTM was available for MSDN subscribers, I immediately downloaded it and installed it on my production machine.

It has been running on my production machine for a couple of weeks now and I must say, I could not be more impressed. It has not crashed on me one time and it seems to be rock solid. The install did not come without a few headaches though. While many of my headaches were most likely due to it be a 64 bit install, overall the process went really well.

The biggest complaint I had was the fact that you cannot upgrade from XP directly to Windows 7. They force you to do a clean install which means you must install all of your applications again. They do provide a tool that will allow you to copy your personal settings over which works really well.

Since the install I have been able to install all of my applications and everything is working properly. The only driver that I had any real problems with was my sound card. Windows was not able to identify my sound blaster sound card, but after contacting the manufacturer, they were able to provide me with the driver needed and it has been working perfectly ever since.

Overall, I would recommend everyone upgrading to this Operating System. Microsoft has delivered to the task at hand this time. This is a rock solid operating system and the early signs show that it will be the operating system of the future.

The Greatest Success Secret of All Time (Read and Share)

The Greatest Success Secret of All Time
By Frank Tibolt / Excerpt from A Touch of Greatness

Wise old Andy Carnegie, multi-millionaire philanthropist and builder of men (he created 43 millionaires) became an omnivorous reader as soon as he first learned to read.

He particularly liked stories of biography about successful and rich men. He quickly learned that most successful men made a habit of writing down goals and striving for them. He read this so often he regarded it as the secret of success. He preached it to anyone who'd listen.

He went so far as to think up a little trick for finding out how many of his own employees wrote down goals and aimed at them. This he did as follows:

He thought up a questionnaire of 15 questions so worded to make them think he wanted their opinions and suggestions. Here were some of the questions:

* How long have you been working here?
* What prompted you to come to work for us?
* Are you satisfied with your pay and working conditions?
* Do you have any suggestions for improving conditions, or improving the
company?
* Are you earning enough money for the work you do, in your opinion?
* Do you make enough money to take good care of your family?

Etc. etc. 15 questions in all.

But in between the 15 was one, the only one he was interested in. That one was:

Do you have the habit of writing down goals and working to reach them?

When the questionnaires came in, he had his accountants separate the "yes" sheets from the "no" sheets. There were 226 Yes sheets and 3572 No sheets.
Then he checked the earnings of each employee. The 226 Yes sheets were among the 10% of the highest earners in the company. The No sheets were among the 90% of the lowest earners.

After the test was over he confessed his trick and explained he did it to persuade them to become GOAL SETTERS. And it paid off. The production of the plant increased and hundreds began goal-setting. Many of them became rich. Fortythree of them became millionaires.

For a while he was nicknamed the High Priest of GOAL SETTING.

Since that time dozens of other research agencies, colleges, accountants, employment agencies and others conducted similar tests. And they always came out close to these figures of 6% and 94%.

GOAL SETTING... THE GREATEST, MOST VALUABLE AND MOST USEFUL OF ALL SUCCESS TECHNIQUES

This technique applies to any goal, large, small, short range, long range, personal, job or career. It works for just a passing thought. Writing down a mere passing thought works like magic for converting that thought into a goal. And writing down a goal works like DYNAMITE for converting a goal into reality.

You are already acquainted with GOAL SETTING through reading Lesson 1 [from the book A Touch of Greatness]. That lesson applied GOAL SETTING to writing down the six most urgent tasks for the next day. Your next step is to write down something with a longer range, like a week. Then gradually for a little longer like a month or so. As you see the giant results, you'll automatically apply it to longer and longer range goals.

Don't choose as your first step upward, a goal that your judgment tells you is so high that it's probably unreachable, or one that will take you so long that it might become discouraging. Select one that you're sure you can reach with a LITTLE time and effort.

Many students ask me: "You say most people know that deciding on and writing down a goal is the most important first step toward success. If so many people know that, why do so few people do it?"

That's a logical question. I'll be glad to answer it. I'll call on Edison and Napoleon to help me answer it. Napoleon wrote:

"The most difficult of all tasks, and hence the most rewarding, is the POWER TO DECIDE. It takes little power to do big things. But it takes great power to decide on big things. And deciding on a goal is a BIG thing. It affects us all our lives."

Whatever you want "large or small, material, mental, or spiritual" write it down as a goal then do something every day to help you reach it. That's the nearest thing to that "so called" SECRET OF SUCCESS you'll ever discover.

The great Goethe wrote: "First build a proper goal. That proper goal will make it easy, almost automatic, to build a proper YOU."

William. James and other great psychologists tell us: Compared to what we should be, we are only half alive. We are making use of only a small part of our mind power. Deep down inside of us are vast powers we know nothing of and never use.

How can we wake up more of our mind power? By waking up more of our 12 billion brain cells most of which are idle, asleep. Some wake up by themselves. But the surest, most powerful technique is to set goals and to work towards them.

After you've chosen your goal, whether long range, or short range, whether a job goal or some other, you now have the task of realizing it. When your car needs a major repair, your mechanic selects the best tools. And when you want to realize a goal, you also need the best, quickest and surest tools.

And what are they?

Without the slightest question of a doubt, they are PENCIL AND PAPER... writing.

Edison once said: "Most people will go to ANY length to avoid the labor of thinking." My classes taught me: Many people will go to any length to avoid the labor of writing. They'll practice auto-suggestion, positive thinking, meditating, affirmations, even hypnotism. But they shrink from writing.

They are throwing away their sharpest tool for the purpose of realizing a goal. Why? Because writing requires thinking, the most exact kind of thinking.

In fact writing forces us to think. It has ten times the power to force us to concentrate and think accurately, exactly, and meaningfully as mere talking or silent pondering. You can prove this in a minute. Just try to write something without thinking. You can't. Forcing yourself to write harnesses a group of brain cells to produce thoughts and that develops mind power.

The starting point of all achievement is a vision, a dream. That dream continued changes to a desire. And if it's definite, it leads to a plan, which in turn leads to action. But it must be definite and WRITTEN DOWN as a goal. Otherwise it's a mere passing thought.

Unless you write down your goal on paper, you are merely toying ...you haven't gotten serious. I'd like to print in letters 12 inches high this MILLION DOLLAR MESSAGE:

ONLY BY WRITING DOWN YOUR GOAL ON PAPER CAN YOU HARNESS YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND TO GO TO WORK TO REALIZE YOUR GOAL

I can't emphasize too strongly: Only the emotions, feeling, have the power to put a message over to the subconscious mind. Ordinary thinking or talking does NOT arouse the emotions. Seeing your goal on paper involves the optic nerve which is 17 times larger than most other nerves. Therefore, seeing it on paper makes a deeper impression on the mind, makes you remember it longer and it penetrates your inner, subconscious mind.

Many potentially great people remained just ordinary because they never wrote down their goals. And many ordinary men who did write down their goals rose to wealth and some even to greatness. A written down goal has more power than brilliance, luck, pull, even genius.

Writing down your goal is so important that I'm going to remind you, urge you, spur you and coax you to write it down until you're blue in the face. If I fail to motivate you to write it down, I'm a flop as a teacher. If you don't like to write, I strongly urge you to force yourself to write until it becomes a habit. Any skill or habit can be developed and acquired, IF we want it seriously enough to seriously set our minds to it. That requires SELF MASTERY, will power, discipline. Here is a good place to begin developing this SELF MASTERY ; one of the two MIND GROWTH traits.

Writing down your goal is planting the seed. That seed will grow and draw all other success aids it needs, like the apple seed that grows and draws all the ingredients it needs. Writing is both physical and mental. It has double power... bringing faster results than any single power. It reaches the subconscious mind.

The subconscious is much smarter than the conscious mind. It's much older, millions of years older. The conscious mind is a comparatively late-comer.
Writing it down gives it momentum, life, substance ...makes it definite and PERMANENT. Mere mental thinking lasts a few seconds. Writing on paper never forgets. Writing it down has two powers, drawing and driving power. Through the subconscious it draws and through the conscious it drives us to do everything we can think of to help realize that goal. It's the quick way.

Writing it down is like hiring a MIRACLE WORKER.

Outside forces, seemingly from nowhere come to your aid. There's an ancient Swiss saying: FATE ADDS A THREAD TO THE CLOTH BEGUN. How? I don't know. Experts have several theories about how a goal converts itself to its physical equivalent. Here is the one most widely accepted:

Your conscious mind is the http://www.mindpowernews.com/Greatness.htmof your life. Your subconscious mind is the FACTORY. This factory is also a giant COMPUTER. It has thousands of separate facts, ideas, plans, notions, concepts and thoughts. A written down order from the conscious mind signals the subconscious mind to select, compare, combine, adopt, adapt, reject, relate and switch these facts and thoughts around and combine them into new forms, new ideas, plans, and means to realize that goal. It even has cybernetic action like a guided missile. When it wanders off course it self-corrects and puts itself right back on course.

Paper with writing on it never forgets. And writing a goal on paper is in some way related to writing it on the subconscious mind, where it acts like a note to ourselves and projects itself upon our eyes and minds to spur us, urge us and nag us until we take some action.

Writing it down activates a new group of our 12 billion brain cells to go to work and realize our goal. Authorities admit they know very little about just how and why this subconscious mind works. But like electricity which produces light, although they don't know how and why electricity works, they are not willing to sit in the dark until they discover how and why. They're satisfied to push buttons and turn it on.

Many hesitate because they don't know how nature works. No one does. She works in mysterious ways. How she transforms a goal into its counterpart in material form is one of her secrets. As we use electricity without knowing how it works, let's do the same with writing down a goal. Those who do, win; those who don't, fail.

Writing down a goal is like turning on a switch. Pencil touching paper is like joining two electric wires together to form a path for the flow of electric power. This simple act of writing down your goal will do more to realize it than anything else you can do. It's electrifying, galvanizing, magnetizing ...it draws all it needs toward it ...it will make you a new person,it will lift you from creature of circumstance to master of circumstance ... it will release the sleeping powers of your mind ...it will permeate every facet of your life. A note on paper never forgets. Nor does your subconscious mind. It might flare forth weeks later.

Your problem is more than half solved once you get your message over to the subconscious mind. In six weeks it can change your whole life. Seemingly miracles begin to happen. Ideas to help you realize your goal will come from everywhere ...seemingly even out of thin air. Your hopes rise ...you change from drifting to driving. Your whole life seems to surge ahead.

Optimism replaces pessimism, positive replaces negative. Hope blooms and despair flees. Your confidence drives out all doubt; indifference changes to enthusiasm. You're on your way!

One surprising way your subconscious mind works on your goal is: IT WORKS ON YOU. Your written down goal motivates you to action. It seems to set a fire under you to wake you up. It changes your whole attitude and outlook. Writing it down takes less than a minute but does more than 20 years of mere wishing to realize it. It's a literal magnet, a charm that draws everything it needs.

You'll notice your goal working on you right away. Seeing your goal on paper will alert you to notice everything even remotely related to your goal. You'll notice your goal gripping you and everything you do. It will keep you ever alert for new ideas; give you new spring, new energy and zeal, new spirit to permeate your whole being.

So far we,ve been emphasizing the power of the subconscious mind to help us realize our goal. That was proper. Writing it down on paper was the mightiest single action we could take to help realize it. But since we want quick results, we owe it to ourselves to use ALL possible aids. Our conscious mind also has power. Remember it is the RULER of our life.

And remember it was our conscious mind that impelled us to harness our
subconscious mind to help realize that goal. And remember: "Committing your goal on paper will activate both your conscious mind and subconscious minds, and help keep your goal always before your vision."

There are several ways to harness your conscious mind to help you realize your goal. Probably the most powerful one is as a reminder. Keep that goal in mind. That requires conscious effort. Look at that written goal. Be sure to LOOK at it, not merely think of it. Look at it every evening. In addition, write it on several cards.
Put one in your car, one in your bedroom, one in your bathroom, and others where you'll AUTOMATICALLY see them without depending on your unreliable memory.

Your success, and how quickly you'll realize your goal, will depend on how long you can keep your enthusiasm up. Some have enthusiasm for a few minutes, others for a few days, some a few weeks, or months. But the real winners are the ones who keep it up for years. Keep in mind enthusiasm creates energy. Energy impels you from within to take actions that help you realize your goal.

OTHER WAYS TO HARNESS THE CONSCIOUS MIND

Also keep in mind the subconscious mind is deaf to mere thinking or weak wishing. It only heeds strong feeling, emotion. Other methods to harness your conscious mind are:

1. Auto suggestions ... telling yourself, aloud if alone, in positive tones that you will realize your goal. Still better, telling yourself that you are already realizing it.

2. Visualizing, seeing it mentally as realized.

3. Every evening reading the list of all the rich, rewards of your goal.

4. Meditation and affirmations.

5. Talking to people in fields of your interest.

6. Reading trade journals about your goal.

7. Reading success books, articles and stories about men in your field of interest.

8. Listening to lectures, tapes, records on success.

9. Associating with successful people.

10. Try to think up several ways of your own. Thinking is the highest faculty of the mind. Exercise it at every opportunity. It's easy: COMPARE AND COMBINE.

For quickest results, while your subconscious mind is drawing, your conscious mind should be driving you to develop the qualities needed to reach your goal. To this end get up a list of slogans, axioms, proverbs, precepts, maxims, mottos as short reminders. Read them every day.

WE NEED MORE TO BE REMINDED THAN INFORMED

To make the most of yourself keep in mind: We need more to be reminded than informed. All ambitious people, from the lowest to the highest need not merely yearly, or quarterly, or monthly or weekly inspiration, but DAILY reminders.

B.C. Forbes, the millionaire founder of Forbes Magazine, read an average of three success books every week for 20 years. Most leaders in business, industry, education, religion, entertainment, and EVERY FIELD are ALWAYS improving themselves by reading, studying, and seeking inspiration. Most world famous leaders claim they read practically all the new books on success, positive thinking, human relations and other success books as fast as they come out. Napoleon once said: "Show me an army of leaders and I'll show you an army of readers."

Do you remember the last words of Kaiser to the students of Denver University? They were: "After you decide on a goal, put it in writing. Then every evening read it to keep it in mind. The next day, and every day, do one thing to take you a little closer to that goal. Keep that up for five years or until you reach your goal."

"BUT," I sense some of you mentally say, "That's harder than it sounds. That takes the kind of will power and brains you read about in the history books. That might be all right for Henry Kaiser and other big shots, but I don't have the will power and the persistence to stick to a goal and do one thing every day for five years to reach it."

If that's your only objection, I have good news for you.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE BRILLIANT TO SUCCEED

The news I'm going to tell you might be the BEST NEWS YOU EVER HEARD. If you act on it, it might mark the turning point in your life. Pull up a chair and I'll tell you the one big factor behind most hugely successful men and women; that helps turn "ordinary" ability into "extraordinary" achievement; helps change average people into big shots, more often than any other trait. It took me 20 years to discover it. I'll tell it to you in 20 minutes.

Whether you want to get rich, become a star salesman, a top executive or entertainer, your ONLY right starting step is to find or develop some OVERMASTERING GOAL, VISION OR PURPOSE TO DRAW AND DRIVE YOU TO SUCCESS. Otherwise you'll fall by the wayside as all "average" folks do.

This right FEELING OR PURPOSE will speed you ahead further and faster than all the knowledge in all the books and colleges. The more people I analyze, the more convinced I am that the chief benefit of education is to help you find a worthy goal, vision or purpose in life, to give life meaning and to DRIVE AND DRAW YOU TO SUCCESS.

THE REAL CAUSE OF MOST FAILURES

Nothing leads to futility and failure like the lack of a chief, strong aim, goal or purpose in life. In my classes, clinic and correspondence course, I have analyzed more than 2000 people. Eighty-seven percent were accomplishing less than their highest potential because they had no goal or vision to draw and drive them forward.

You'll never even know what your real power and possibilities are until you feel that irresistible pull from an overmastering purpose from within, drawing you forward. That vision or goal, that purpose or feeling will act like a magnet, pulling you from in front, instead of requiring a push from behind. Your powerful subconscious mind will take over and replace the crude will power and DRIVE AND DRAW you forward.

This dominant goal will relieve you of the source of petty annoyances, fears, hates, peeves, excuses, inhibitions, and complexes that lick little men. Whenever an obstacle crops up, you'll automatically think, "How small this petty piffle will look five years from today." Your vision will carry you over obstacles like a jet bomber.
It will free you from the paralyzing complexes and the picayune peeves that flatten floundering floaters.

You'll automatically think with Sir Thomas Buxton,

"The longer I live, the stronger becomes my conviction that the truest difference between the success and the failure, between the strong and the weak, between the big and the small man, that separates the boys from the men, is nothing but a powerful aim in life, a purpose once fixed and then death or victory. And no perfect speech or manners, no culture or education, no pull or influence, can make a two-legged creature a man without it."

Money is Your Reward for Serving Others (You need to know..)

Money is Your Reward for Serving Others
By Bob Proctor / Source: The Science of Getting Rich

There is a very real possibility that everything you and I have been taught about how to earn money is so far from the truth that it’s almost comical.

Earning money has nothing to do with age, formal education, gender or geography. It has nothing to do with past experience or your formal years of education or your level of intellect.

There are individuals who are functionally illiterate who have become multimillionaires, while there are others who are absolutely brilliant and they are broke. Virtually anyone can be taught how to earn millions of dollars and yet the sad truth is that 97 out of every 100 people are born, live their entire lives, and die without ever learning how to earn money. To perpetuate this ridiculous problem, their ignorance is passed along from one generation to the next.

Our school system has been designed as an environment to enlighten young minds, to replace ignorance with understanding and ultimately improve the quality of life. And though our educational system has obviously been successful in many areas, it has woefully neglected one important subject, ''How to Earn Money.''

A lack of understanding in this area is the cause of numerous unwanted and unnecessary problems, since money is the medium of exchange that is used worldwide for other people’s products and services.

The Real Source of Wealth

There has always been a small, select group, approximately 3% of our population, who clearly understand that prosperity consciousness, is the primary cause of wealth and their prosperity consciousness, like ignorance, is also passed down from one generation to the next.

Let’s look at ''money.'' What is it?

Money is a reward you receive for the service you render. The more valuable the service, the greater the reward. Thinking of ways we can be of greater service will not only help us earn more money, it will also enable us to grow intellectually and spiritually.

Money is an Idea

The paper you fold and place in your purse or pocket is not money. It is paper with ink on it. It represents money, but it is not money. Money is an idea. The earning of money has nothing to do with the paper stuff; it has to do with consciousness.

To accumulate wealth, a person must become very comfortable with the idea of money. That may sound strange, however most people are not comfortable with the idea of money, which is why they do not have any. The cause of poverty is poverty consciousness. A poverty consciousness will cause a person to see, hear, think and feel ... lack and limitation.

The late Mike Todd said, ''Being broke is a temporary situation. Being poor is a mental state.''

He was correct. There are wealthy people who lose every cent they have through a series of mistakes in judgment, but that does not make them poor. They will have it all back in a short time because of their prosperity consciousness.

Many years ago, George Bernard Shaw expressed his thoughts on money. People have such strong views on both of these statements; I purposely use them in my seminars to cause the attendees to think.

1. It is the duty of every person to be rich.
2. It is a sin to be poor.

Before you reject these as being ridiculous, let’s analyze them. To fully understand what Shaw was saying, you must have an open mind. There is a law that states everything is moving, absolutely nothing rests. You are either moving ahead in life or going in reverse ... growing or dying ... creating or disintegrating, becoming richer or poorer.

The Most Important Universal Law for Becoming Wealthy

There is another law to which people often refer in many different ways ... Karmic Law ... Sowing and reaping ... Cause and Effect ... Action, Re-Action. How you refer to this law is of little importance relative to your understanding of how it works.
The thoughts, feelings, and actions that you express in life are seeds that you sow. The conditions, circumstances and things that come into your life are the harvest you reap as a RESULT of the seeds that you sow. For a moment, store this information in the back of your mind while we investigate the deeper understanding of the words SIN and MONEY.

Sin is ... transgression of the law. Violating the law is a sin and, in truth, the price of sin is death. That does not mean your heart will stop beating, but it does mean you will regress. I previously mentioned there is a law that states you will either create or disintegrate, you will grow or die. When you attempt to ''get'' without giving, you are trying to reap the harvest without sowing the seeds, and it will not work.

Now let’s look at ''money.'' What is it? Money is a reward you receive for the service you render; the more valuable the service, the greater the reward. Attempting to ''get'' money without providing service is also a violation of the law.

We Are Here to Serve Each Other

Shaw believed you and I are here to serve one another. Thinking of ways we can be of greater service will enable us to grow intellectually and spiritually. It is our duty to serve and money is a reward we receive for that service. If a person has received their money in an unlawful manner - by law, they must pay the price; you reap what you sow.

In light of the laws that govern our universe, what Shaw said is correct. However, if a person is not consciously thinking, Shaw’s statements would appear very callous, even ridiculous. Personally, I believe Shaw made those statements the way he did, to provoke people to think.

Quite simply, what Shaw was emphasizing was the importance of our own responsibility in the quest for abundance. Abundance is something we magnetize ourselves to ... we draw it into our lives ... in every aspect our lives. Business associates, friends, everything we want will come into our life by law, not luck. You are either attracting or repelling good. It is your own consciousness that ultimately determines your results.

''Money is in consciousness and it must be earned.'' If you want to improve your financial position in life, focus your attention on creating a higher level of prosperity consciousness. Begin by preparing a powerful, positive affirmation and fuel it with emotion. When you do this, you are depositing this creative energy in the treasury of your subconscious mind. And, by repeating this process over and over and over again every day, it will begin to alter your conditioning and mentally move you in the direction you want to go. Write it out, read it, feel it, and let it take hold of your mind.

How much money do you want? Saying you want more is not good enough. Five dollars is more. How much more? Decide on a figure. Be specific. You will not seriously want more money than you are capable of earning ... however, you would be wise to remember, and you must earn it.

There are Three Income Earning Strategies

• Trading time for money – By far the worst of the three income earning strategies, it is employed by approximately 96% of our population – doctors, lawyers, accountants, laborers, etc. There is an inherent problem with this strategy – saturation. You run out of time. If a person accumulates any degree of wealth employing this strategy, it will be at the expense of a life. They compromise on the car they drive, the house they live in, the clothes they choose and the vacations they take. They rarely, if ever, get what they want.

• Investing money to earn money – This strategy is used by approximately 3% of the population. The number is small for the obvious reason – very few people have any money to invest. Many people who effectively employ this strategy follow the advice of a trusted, knowledgeable advisor.

• Leveraging yourself to earn money – This is where you multiply your time through the efforts of others by setting up Multiple Sources of Income (MSIs). This is, without question, the very best way to increase your income. Make a decision to have many sources of income; it’s the strategy that wealthy people have used dating clear back to the ancient Babylonians. Unfortunately, this strategy is only used by approximately 1% of our population, yet that 1% earns approximately 96% of all the money that is earned! You are only a decision away from membership.

Once you determine how much money you want to earn, write it down on a sheet of paper in large figures. Look at the number with the dollar sign beside it and tell yourself over and over again:

THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY IS AN EFFECT. IT REPRESENTS A REWARD THAT I WANT TO RECEIVE. WHAT SERVICE CAN I RENDER THAT WOULD BE DESERVING OF THAT REWARD?

Take the total figure and divide it into multiple parts. Let each part represent a source of income. Each source of income represents a separate reward that you would receive for a service you would render. Work on one source of income at a time; each one can become an exciting part of your life.

• Think of how you can do whatever you do – more effectively.
• Think of how you can improve the quality and quantity of service you render.
• Think of how you can help people in a greater way.

Money is a servant; the more you earn, the more you can help others.

Who Wants to Be a Billionaire? (Ohh what question is that? I love it!)

Who Wants to Be a Billionaire?

Want to become a billionaire? Up your chances by dropping out of college, working at Goldman Sachs or joining Skull & Bones.

By Duncan Greenberg / Source: Forbes

Are billionaires born or made? What are the common attributes among the uber-wealthy? Are there any true secrets of the self-made?

We get these questions a lot, and decided it was time to go beyond the broad answers of smarts, ambition and luck by sorting through our database of wealthy individuals in search of bona fide trends. We analyzed everything from the billionaires' parents' professions to where they went to school, their track records in the early stages of their careers and other experiences that may have put them on the path to extreme wealth.

Our admittedly unscientific study of the 657 self-made billionaires we counted in February for our list of the World's Billionaires yielded some interesting results.

First, a significant percentage of billionaires had parents with a high aptitude for math. The ability to crunch numbers is crucial to becoming a billionaire, and mathematical prowess is hereditary. Some of the most common professions among the parents of American billionaires (for whom we could find the information) were engineer, accountant and small-business owner.
Consistent with the rest of the population, more American billionaires were born in the fall than in any other season. However, relatively few billionaires were born in December, traditionally the month with the eighth highest birth rate. This anomaly holds true among billionaires in the U.S. and abroad.

More than 20% of the 292 of the self-made American billionaires on the most recent list of the World's Billionaires have either never started or never completed college. This is especially true of those destined for careers as technology entrepreneurs: Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Michael Dell, Larry Ellison, and Theodore Waitt.

Billionaires who derive their fortunes from finance make up one of the most highly educated sub-groups: More than 55% of them have graduate degrees. Nearly 90% of those with M.B.A.s obtained their master's degree from one of three Ivy League schools: Harvard, Columbia or U. Penn's Wharton School of Business.

Goldman Sachs has attracted a large share of hungry minds that went on to garner 10-figure fortunes. At least 11 current and recent billionaire financiers worked at Goldman early in their careers, including Edward Lampert, Daniel Och, Tom Steyer and Richard Perry.

Several billionaires suffered a bitter professional setback early in their careers that heightened their fear of failure. Pharmaceutical tycoon R.J. Kirk's first venture was a flop--an experience he regrets but appreciates. "Failure early on is a necessary condition for success, though not a sufficient one," he told Forbes in 2007.

According to a statement read by Phil Falcone during a congressional hearing in November, his botched buyout of a company in Newark in the early 1990s taught him "several valuable lessons that have had a profound impact upon my success as a hedge fund manager."

Several current and former billionaires rounded out their Yale careers as members of Skull and Bones, the secret society portrayed with enigmatic relish by Hollywood in movies like The Skulls and W. Among those who were inducted: investor Edward Lampert, Blackstone co-founder Steven Schwarzman, and FedEx founder Frederick Smith.

Parents Had Math-Related Careers

The ability to crunch numbers is normally a key to becoming a billionaire. Often, mathematical prowess is hereditary. Some of the most common professions among the parents of American billionaires for whom we could find that information were engineer, accountant and small-business owner.

September Birthdays

Of the 380 self-made American tycoons who have appeared on the Forbes list of the World's Billionaires in the past three years, 42 were born in September--more than in any other month. Maybe that's because September is the month the Forbes list of the 400 richest Americans is published.

Tech Titans Who Dropped Out of College

Forget everything your guidance counselor told you: You don't have to go to college to be successful. More than 20% of the self-made American moguls on the most recent list of the World's Billionaires never finished college. Many of them made their fortunes in tech. Among them: Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Michael Dell, Larry Ellison, (Oracle) and Theodore Waitt (Gateway).

Skull and Bones

Several current and former billionaires rounded out their Yale careers as members of Skull and Bones, the secret society portrayed with enigmatic relish by Hollywood in movies like The Skulls and W. Among those who were inducted: investor Edward Lampert, Blackstone co-founder Steven Schwarzman and FedEx founder Frederick Smith.

Goldman Sachs

A stint at investment bank Goldman Sachs is a prime credential for becoming a finance billionaire. Of the 68 self-made American billionaires that derive their fortunes from finance, at least eight cut their teeth in Goldman's investment banking, trading, or asset management divisions. The company's crown jewel: its "risk arbitrage" unit, which launched the careers of billionaires Edward Lampert and Daniel Och, as well as former billionaires Tom Steyer and Richard Perry.
